MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL OHIO SWEETHEART PAGEANT

Welcome to Miss Northern International, where the power of kindness and sisterhood comes together to create meaningful change in our communities. Our queens are dedicated to achieving personal excellence while engaging in impactful service projects that uplift and inspire those around them—all guided by our principle: Kindness First Always.

Participating in the Sweetheart Pageant is the perfect opportunity if you are new to pageantry or need practice. This event will crown the Miss Ohio Sweetheart Court. If additional states register, more state titles will be added. You will receive professional feedback from the panel of judges, which will be emailed within 7-10 business days following this event.

MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL ELIGIBILITY RULES

The date of November 1, 2026, determines the competing age for each delegate. You must be a citizen of the United States or Canada, a natural-born female, have an exceptional and upstanding character, and uphold the kindness-first philosophy. Additional qualifying factors for age divisions:

Miss Division Ages 20-30 (never married)

Mrs. Division Ages 21+ (married)

Ms. Division Ages 21+ (an unmarried woman who uses this title)

REQUIRED COMPETITION EVENTS

1. On Stage Introduction 10%

2. Casual Wear 30%

3. Evening Gown 40%

4. Community Service Project 20%

INTRODUCTION: This is an opportunity to engage with the judges and audience by providing a brief introduction of no more than 15 seconds. The introduction should include your name and some fun facts.

CASUAL WEAR: Get ready for an exciting on-stage modeling event! It’s your time to shine and showcase your favorite casual wear outfit. Bring your unique style and modeling skills to this vibrant and fun occasion.

EVENING GOWN: Contestants are invited to shine in a breathtaking floor-length gown that reflects their unique style and personality, embodying grace and elegance. A Tiny Princess delegate may choose to wear a knee-length cupcake-style dress. It is essential for every delegate to select a gown that inspires confidence and showcases their poise throughout this esteemed event.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: Community service and giving back are the beating heart of Miss Northern International! Here, we embrace the motto "Kindness First, Always!" Our sisterhood thrives on collaboration, uniting to undertake meaningful service projects that leave a lasting, positive impact! This community service project supports Ava's Light, which is overseen by the 2025–2026 Miss Northern International Preteen, Ava Hembree. The contestants in the Miss Ohio Sweetheart Pageant are required to donate two pairs of gently used jeans or other apparel items made of a jean fabric. Ava uses the material to make a magic clutch for children and teens, pediatric patients, and more! Each clutch is filled with creative activities to spark imagination. Please turn in your donation at Registration on May 2nd to fulfill this service requirement. The two contestants who go above and beyond to support this project will receive special recognition and an award. Together, let's spread joy and make a difference!

A. MOST PHOTOGENIC: Step into the spotlight with our captivating photogenic competition, where you have the chance to win the Most Photogenic event! To participate, simply submit a dazzling professional headshot that showcases your unique charm and personality. Our esteemed panel of judges will be on the lookout for elements such as personality, fashion sense, confidence, beauty, lighting, creativity, and composition. The Most Photogenic event can be entered three times to submit a max of three (3) photos. The top three contestants with the highest score in the Junior and Senior Divisions will be honored with an award. B. FUN FASHION: This is an exciting opportunity to dazzle the audience with your high-fashion ensemble! Step onto the stage with confidence and flair, showcasing your exquisite modeling skills. This is a fun and vibrant event that lets your personality shine! The top three contestants with the highest score in the Junior and Senior Divisions will be honored with an award.

C. FITNESS: Are you ready to shine on the runway at the fitness competition? Wear your most vibrant fitness outfit with tennis shoes to infuse energy into this walking routine! The top three contestants with the highest scores in the Junior and Senior Divisions will be honored with an award.

D. INTERVIEW: This is an opportunity to engage with the judges and convey who you are, your commitment to kindness and community service. Make the most of this chance to showcase your passion and dedication! You can provide a brief introduction to present to the judges.

MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP RULES

Miss Northern State International is a natural scholarship pageant system, and we encourage everyone to showcase their natural beauty. You have the flexibility to style your hair and makeup as you wish. However, we recommend that the Tiny Princess, Jr. Princess, and Princess delegates avoid heavy makeup. Light makeup and hair extensions are permitted in the younger divisions.

DRESSING ROOM

Absolutely no males are allowed in the dressing room. No photos or videos are allowed in the dressing room. Curling irons, flat irons, or any hot hair tools are only permitted in the restroom areas. Steamers are allowed in the dressing room.

EVENT ADMISSION TO SHOWS

Admission for the Miss Ohio Sweetheart is $20. Cash, PayPal, and Venmo accepted at the door pending seat availability. Children 5 and under are free admission. If you are visiting royalty from any system and are wearing your sash admission is only $15 for this event.

At Miss Northern International, our guiding principle is “Kindness First, Always!” We are more than just a pageant; we are a vibrant sisterhood dedicated to uplifting and supporting one another. We hold our contestants and their families to the highest standards of morals and ethics, fostering an environment where respect and positivity flourish. Every contestant, parent, and guest are expected to embody kindness in all interactions. Disrespectful behavior—such as negative comments or bullying—will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from the event. PEOPLE'S CHOICE

Get ready for an exciting People's Choice vote featuring all of the contestants. The contestant who receives the highest overall votes will be honored as the People's Choice winner.

JUDGES AND SCORING PROCESS

The professional panel of judges is refreshed annually for events, ensuring a dynamic and fair evaluation process. Each judge scores independently, and the tabulation software is managed by a Judges Chairman to accurately determine the winners. If a judge has a personal connection with a delegate, they are required to waive their right to judge, and the scoring will rely on an average from the remaining judges. The Miss Northern International Founder enforces rigorous ethical standards to guarantee that the judging process remains consistent, fair, and equitable at all times.

MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL SWEETHEART CROWNING

The contestant who achieves the highest score in each division will be celebrated as the Miss Ohio Sweetheart Queen. The top three state finalists in each division will receive an award. Being crowned a Miss Northern International Ohio Sweetheart Queen allows you an opportunity to represent the MNI organization. You also qualify to compete at the Miss Northern International Global Finals, November 13-15, 2026, at the Ohio Event Center in Newark, Ohio! Miss Ohio Sweetheart Pageant Fees:

The Miss Ohio Sweetheart Pageant's full registration fee for required events is $125. Registration closes on April 25, 2026. Please note that all fees are non-refundable once paid.
