STATE APPOINTED TITLE

Miss Northern International proudly presents the opportunity for girls and women to received an appointed title. While an appointed title is optional, it serves as a fantastic opportunity to begin your journey as a Miss Northern International State/City Queen, complete with a stunning custom state crown and sash. As a vibrant service organization, being an official Queen allows you to embody our mission and champion service initiatives close to your heart. Join us in spreading our guiding philosophy, "Kindness First Always," as we encourage kindness and positivity in our communities. The Appointed Title registration is open for the 2026 pageant season.

MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL ELIGIBILITY RULES

The date of November 1, 2026, determines the competing age for each delegate. You must be a citizen of the United States or Canada, a natural born female, have an exceptional and upstanding character, and uphold the kindness first always philosophy. Additional qualifying factors for age divisions:

Miss Division Ages 20-30 (never married)

Mrs. Division Ages 21+ (married)

Ms. Division Ages 21+ (an unmarried woman that uses this title)

As a paid team member at Miss Northern International, it is imperative to understand that your family members are strictly prohibited from competing as a contestant at the MNI Global finals. This rule does not apply to the Sweetheart Practice Pageants. However, volunteers and sponsors are fully eligible to participate in all events.

As a reigning MNI Global Queen, you can only win a division one time which means you must age up to a new division if you are a Tiny Princess, Jr. Princess, Princess, Preteen, Jr. Teen, or Teen. A reigning MNI Global Queen must sit out one full year after your reign is over before you can compete in a new division. This includes all MNI International Queens (Ambassadors, Runway Model, and People's Choice). As a reigning MNI Global Miss, Mrs., or Ms. Queen, you must sit out three years before you can compete in the same division again. If you are eligible to return, please register for an appointed title.

Don't forget to complete the fact sheet template provided by Miss Northern International. Remember, your social impact will be a part of the evaluation.

CASUAL WEAR: This is your chance to shine brightly in your favorite casual wear. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and showcase your unique flair and modeling skills. Embrace the energy of this lively event, and let your individual style sparkle like never before! It's time to radiate confidence and enjoy every moment on stage!

EVENING GOWN: Delegates are invited to shine in a breathtaking floor-length gown that reflects their unique style and personality, embodying grace and elegance. It is essential for every delegate to select a gown that inspires confidence and showcases their poise throughout this esteemed event. Ahead of the international gathering, a carefully crafted walking pattern will be revealed, guiding each contestant in their graceful journey across the stage and making every moment magical.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: Community service and giving back are the beating heart of Miss Northern International! Here, we embrace the motto "Kindness First, Always!" Our sisterhood thrives on collaboration, uniting to undertake meaningful service projects that leave a lasting, positive impact! Together, let's spread joy and make a difference! The official project will support the Franklin County Children's Services Holiday Wish. A minimum of one new toy donation is required.

A. MOST PHOTOGENIC: Step into the spotlight with our captivating photogenic competition. To participate, simply submit a professional headshot that showcases your unique charm and personality. Our esteemed panel of judges will be on the lookout for elements such as personality, fashion sense, confidence, beauty, lighting, creativity, and composition. The top three contestants with the highest scores will be honored with an award in the Junior and Senior Divisions. B. MODELING PORTFOLIO: Prepare to unveil your professional modeling portfolio, an inspiring testament to your talent and creativity. Your portfolio should showcase a diverse array of photographs that reflect your unique modeling abilities. Present your work in a tasteful printed format within a stylish portfolio binder. The top three contestants with the highest scores will be honored with an award in the Junior and Senior Divisions.

C. FITNESS: Are you ready to shine on the runway at the fitness competition? Miss Northern International is working with a designer to create a custom fitness outfit for this event, so stay tuned for more information. The top three contestants with the highest scores will be honored with an award in the Junior and Senior Divisions.

D. SPOKESMODEL: Giving back isn’t just an act; it’s a responsibility we all share. It’s in the small acts – whether volunteering at a local food bank, organizing neighborhood clean-ups, and so much more that a positive difference is made. Why do you have a heart for service? Prepare a 90 second speech about why community service and giving back is important to you and how you are making a positive difference. The top three contestants with the highest scores will be honored with an award in the Junior and Senior Divisions.

E. SOCIAL MEDIA CORRESPONDENT: Are you passionate about promoting empowerment, kindness, community engagement, and the values of the Miss Northern International organization? Here’s your chance to shine! We invite you to create a captivating video, no longer than 60 seconds, that showcases what you love most about Miss Northern International. Share your personal experiences, highlight the organization’s mission, and express how it inspires you and others in the community. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to convey your passion and contribute to the Miss Northern International legacy! The top three contestants with the highest scores will be honored with an award in the Junior and Senior Divisions. G. TALENT: Got talent? Now is your chance to shine and impress the judges with your unique skills in a 90-second video submission. H. STATE WEAR EVENT: Get ready to celebrate your home with our State Wear Optional Event! This exciting opportunity invites you to proudly showcase the unique culture, heritage, or iconic symbols of the state or territory where you reside. To participate, wear an outfit that reflects your pride and connection to your home, whether it’s traditional attire, clothing featuring local landmarks, or even colors that represent your state or territory where you live. The top three contestants with the highest scores will be honored with an award in the Junior and Senior Divisions.

I. FEATURE MAGAZINE CONTEST: We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for all delegates to participate in the prestigious print model photo contest! The overall winner will be featured in the highly anticipated 2026 Miss Northern International Global Finals Magazine. This feature will be a highlight of the magazine, capturing the essence and beauty of the winners. In addition to the grand prize, there are fantastic rewards for the runners-up: the 1st runner-up will have her striking photo prominently displayed on the inside front cover of the magazine, providing an excellent platform for visibility and recognition. Meanwhile, the 2nd runner-up will have the honor of her photo appearing on the inside back cover. All winners will be presented with a copy of the MNI magazine, allowing them to cherish their moment in print, along with a special gift that reflects the spirit of the competition. J. INTERNATIONAL MODEL RUNWAY EVENT: Prepare to dazzle at the International Runway Event with your one-of-a-kind pink-inspired ensemble! The overall champions in both the Jr. and Sr. Divisions will be awarded an extraordinary prize package valued at $1,150, unlocking the thrilling chance to grace the runway at New York Fashion Week in the prestigious Charjean Couture Show! Embrace this opportunity to showcase your creativity and style!

K. SERVICE EXCELLENCE AMBASSADOR

Miss Northern International is seeking passionate individuals to become the Service Excellence Ambassadors for 2026-2027. This opportunity invites you to showcase your dedication to service and kindness through a video submission of 90 seconds or less for the Junior Division, or a thought-provoking essay of 400 words or less for the Senior Division outlining your service and kindness commitment and why you want to be selected for this opportunity. To seize this remarkable chance:

You must have a 2026 Miss Northern International appointed title.
Your service efforts must proudly represent Miss Northern International.
You must submit the MNI service tracking form accompanied by evidence of your work shared on your social media page(s).

All video or essay submissions, along with your service tracking form, must be submitted by September 30, 2026. This is not just an application—it's your opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community while showcasing your commitment to service. Two exceptional delegates will be honored as Miss Northern International Service Excellence Global Queens, and all applicants will receive recognition for their commitment to service and kindness. Step forward, make your mark, and inspire others with your passion for service and kindness.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE

Prepare for an inspiring People's Choice vote showcasing all the remarkable 2026 Miss Northern International delegates! The delegate with the highest overall votes will be celebrated as the People's Choice winner. This winner will join the 2026-2027 Miss Northern International Global Queens on an all-expense-paid journey to Canada and will receive an appointed title for 2027. People's Choice opens on October 1, 2026!

AD PAGES

The delegate who sells the most ad pages for the Miss Northern International Magazine will earn the prestigious title of Ad Page winner. This remarkable individual will have the opportunity to join the 2026-2027 Miss Northern International Global Queens on an unforgettable all-expense-paid journey to Canada and will receive an appointed title for 2027. Ad page sales commence on March 1, 2026!

MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL APPAREL AND SWAG

Miss Northern International has established an exclusive partnership with Matti Pearl Patches, which is owned and operated by Amanda Medina. This agreement ensures that Matti Pearl Patches is the only producer of all Miss Northern International swag and apparel, including t-shirts, hats, and other merchandise designed specifically for our organization. As such, families and contestants are strictly prohibited from producing their own MNI items to maintain brand consistency and quality. AUCTION EVENT

Miss Northern International hosts a highly anticipated annual auction event! Each delegate is required to contribute a themed basket or donation with a retail value of $50 to enhance our fundraising efforts. Let your creativity shine with ideas such as a delightful family game night basket filled with classic board games and snacks, a pet lover’s basket packed with toys and treats for furry friends, or a beauty-themed package overflowing with pampering essentials. Purses and adorable backpacks filled with fun, kid-friendly items are wonderful choices too! Please turn in your donation at registration on November 13, 2026. This exciting auction promises fun and community spirit and supports vital annual scholarships. Thank you for your generous contribution to make this event a success! MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP RULES

Miss Northern State International is a natural scholarship pageant system, and we encourage everyone to showcase their natural beauty. You have the flexibility to style your hair and makeup as you wish. However, we recommend that the Baby, Tiny, Jr. Princess, and Princess delegates avoid heavy makeup. Light makeup and hair extensions are permitted in the younger divisions.

DRESSING ROOM

There are absolutely no males allowed in the dressing room. No photos or videos are allowed in the dressing room. Curling irons, flat irons, or any hot hair tools are only permitted in the restroom areas. Steamers are allowed in the dressing room.

EVENT ADMISSION TO SHOWS

Admission for all of the Miss Northern International shows is $50. This includes the finals shows and the awards show. There will be an order link for tickets available September 1, 2026. Children 5 and under are free admission. Cash, PayPal, and Venmo accepted at the door pending seat availability.

Each Miss Northern International Queen is invited to return to the Global event the following year to bestow the crown upon her successor—a moment that is as rewarding as it is ceremonial. Please note the International Service Excellence Ambassadors holding this title requires a full commitment.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE

JUDGES AND SCORING PROCESS

The professional panel of judges is refreshed annually for the Miss Northern International Global Pageant, ensuring a dynamic and fair evaluation process. Each judge scores independently, and the tabulation software is managed by a Judges Chairman to accurately determine the winners. If a judge has a personal connection with a delegate, they are required to waive their right to judge, and the scoring will rely on an average from the remaining judges. The Miss Northern International Founder enforces rigorous ethical standards to guarantee that the judging process remains consistent, fair, and equitable at all times.

MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL CROWNING

The contestant who achieves the highest score in each division will be celebrated as the new Miss Northern International Queen. The top five state finalists in each division will proudly receive a plaque in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.
