Social impact is about making a positive difference in the lives of others. At MNI, social impact means promoting kindness and supporting service projects that strengthen our communities. It is about using your voice and actions to encourage others, spread positivity, and give back through volunteer work, community events, or acts of kindness. For the younger delegates (Tiny Princess, Jr. Princess, and Princess delegates) social impact is using your heart to help others. It is showing kindness and encouraging people to make a difference. 

 

​CASUAL WEAR: This is your chance to shine brightly in your favorite casual wear outfit. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and showcase your unique flair and modeling skills. GOWN: Delegates are invited to shine in a breathtaking floor-length gown that reflects their unique style and personality, embodying grace and elegance. Ahead of the international gathering, a carefully crafted walking pattern will be revealed, guiding each contestant in their graceful journey across the stage and making every moment magical.

​A. MOST PHOTOGENIC: ​​Step into the spotlight with our captivating photogenic competition. To participate, simply submit a professional headshot that showcases your unique charm and personality. Our esteemed panel of judges will be on the lookout for elements such as personality, fashion sense, confidence, beauty, lighting, creativity, and composition. Please note Miss Northern International is a natural scholarship organization. The photo submission should not be heavily edited. The top three contestants in each division with the highest scores will be honored at the awards ceremony. Email your headshot photo by July 31, 2027 to missnortherninternational@gmail.com. Delegates may register for the Most Photogenic optional event twice, with a total maximum of two photo submissions allowed.

B. MODELING PORTFOLIO:  Prepare to unveil your professional modeling portfolio, an inspiring testament to your talent and creativity. Your portfolio should showcase a diverse array of photographs that reflect your unique modeling abilities. Present your work in a tasteful printed format within a stylish portfolio binder. The top three contestants with the highest scores will be honored with an award in the Junior and Senior Divisions.

C. FEATURE MAGAZINE CONTEST: We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for all delegates to participate in our prestigious print model photo contest!  This photo should be expressive, engaging, and authentic, capturing a strong pose and confidence. A full body pose is allowed. There will be three winners in both the Junior and Senior Divisions. The overall Junior and Senior winners will receive a two-page layout featuring their winning photo. This feature will be a magazine highlight, capturing the essence and beauty of the overall winners. The 1st runners-up will have their striking photos prominently displayed on the magazine inside front cover, providing excellent visibility and recognition. The 2nd runners-up will be honored with their photos appearing on the inside back cover. All winners will receive a copy of the MNI Junior or Senior magazine to commemorate their moment in print, along with a special gift reflecting the spirit of the competition. Delegates may register for the Feature Magazine optional contest twice, with a maximum of two photo submissions.

D. FUN FASHION: This is an exciting opportunity to dazzle the audience with your high-fashion ensemble! Step onto the stage with confidence and flair, showcasing your exquisite modeling skills. This is a fun and vibrant event! Let your personality shine! The top three contestants in each division with the highest scores will be honored at the awards ceremony. 

 

E. FITNESS: Are you ready to shine on the runway at the fitness competition? Miss Northern International has selected the Fashion Factory to create a stunning custom fitness outfit for this event. This is an optional opportunity. The order information is on a private communication page for the MNI Global Finals. The top three contestants in each division with the highest scores will be honored at the awards ceremony.

F. A CELEBRATION OF HERITAGE AND HOME: This exciting opportunity invites you to celebrate the unique culture, heritage, or iconic symbols of your home. To participate, wear an outfit that expresses your pride and connection to your heritage or the place you live, whether it’s traditional attire or clothing featuring local landmarks. The top three contestants in each division with the highest scores will be recognized at the awards ceremony.

G. SPOKESMODEL:  Giving back isn’t just an act; it’s a responsibility we all share. It’s in the small acts, whether volunteering at a local food bank, organizing neighborhood clean-ups, and so much more that a positive difference is made. Why do you have a heart for service? Prepare a 90-second speech about why community service and giving back are important to you and how you are making a positive difference. ​The top three contestants in each division with the highest scores will be honored at the awards ceremony. 

 

​​​​​​H. TALENT: Got talent? Now is your chance to shine and impress the judges with your unique skills in a 90-second video submission. The overall contestant in each division with the highest score will be honored at the awards ceremony. Remember, videos must be emailed by September 30, 2026, to missnortherninternational@gmail.com.

I. GLAMOUR WITH PURPOSE RUNWAY: Get ready to shine on the International Runway in your unique, jean-inspired ensemble! The top three contestants in each division with the highest scores will be recognized at the awards ceremony. The overall champions in both the Junior and Senior Divisions will win an extraordinary prize package valued at $1,150, including an exclusive opportunity to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week in the prestigious Charjean Couture Show. This is your moment to showcase creativity and style! The prize package features one runway walk at Charjean Couture during New York Fashion Week, a model swag bag, professional hair and makeup, a custom Charjean Couture outfit to keep, stage images, and a street photoshoot. In addition, the overall 1st place delegate in both the Junior and Senior Divisions will each receive a $500 scholarship for New York Fashion Week! Please note, travel expenses to New York City are not included.

 

J. STRIKE A POSE: Who is ready for a high-fashion photoshoot? This photoshoot requires you to wear a white or purple cocktail dress of choice. Each delegate will receive 2 unedited photos from this photoshoot. The top three contestants in each division with the highest scores will be honored at the awards ceremony. The overall winner of this event in the Junior and Senior Divisions (two delegates) will each win an $800 prize package. The prize package includes an in-studio photoshoot in New York City on February 2028, professional hair and makeup services and a Charjean Couture Runway Outfit. Your photo is featured in the Charjean Couture Lookbook that is distributed to industry professionals. You will also receive your official CompCard. You will receive 2-4 edited images from the New York City photoshoot. Please note that travel expenses to New York City are your responsibility. The Charjean Couture Runway outfit is loaned to the overall winners and must be returned after the photoshoot. This optional event requires a minimum of 12 registrations, or it will be canceled.

K. SERVICE EXCELLENCE QUEEN

Miss Northern International is seeking passionate, engaged individuals to serve as Service Excellence Queens for 2027-2028. This opportunity invites you to showcase your dedication to service and kindness through an essay of 400 words outlining your service and kindness commitment, what service goals you accomplished during your Miss Northern International reign including total number of hours, how you have shown engagement at Miss Northern International, why you want to be selected for this opportunity, and your goals if crowned.

 

To seize this remarkable chance:​

• You must have a 2027 Miss Northern International State/City title.

• Your service efforts must proudly represent Miss Northern International.

• All service work must be documented on your social media account or a parent’s page. Each photo should clearly show you wearing your MNI sash, your crown and/or sash, or holding a Kindness First Always sign.

• You must submit the MNI service tracking form accompanied by evidence of your work shared on your social media page(s).

• Outline your service and kindness commitment, the service goals you accomplished, your total service hours during your Miss Northern International Reign, and how you consistently engaged with the MNI organization in a 500-page essay. Please bullet-point accomplishments.

• You may also submit official documentation or letters from the organizations you have supported.

​

All essay submissions, along with your service tracking form, must be submitted by July 18, 2027. This is your opportunity to showcase your commitment to service and the Miss Northern International organization through engagement and sharing kindness.  Five exceptional delegates will be honored as Miss Northern International Service Excellence Global Queens, and all applicants will receive recognition for their commitment to service and kindness. Step forward, make your mark, and inspire others with your passion for service and kindness.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE

Get ready to be inspired by the extraordinary delegates of the 2027 Miss Northern International! Join us in celebrating these remarkable individuals as they compete for the coveted title of Miss Northern International Global People's Choice Queen! The delegate with the most votes will earn this prestigious title and speical prize package! Your vote matters let's make it count! People's Choice opens August 1, 2027.  Voting will close on September 4, 2027, at 11:59 p.m.

Miss Northern International hosts a highly anticipated annual auction event! Each delegate is required to contribute a themed basket or donation with a retail value of $50 to enhance our fundraising efforts. Let your creativity shine with ideas such as a delightful family game night basket filled with classic board games and snacks, a pet lover’s basket packed with toys and treats for furry friends, or a beauty-themed package overflowing with pampering essentials. Purses and adorable backpacks filled with fun, kid-friendly items are wonderful choices too! Please turn in your donation at registration on September 4, 2027. This exciting auction promises fun and community spirit and supports vital annual scholarships. Thank you for your generous contribution to make this event a success!

​MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP RULES

Miss Northern State International is a natural scholarship pageant system, and we encourage everyone to showcase their natural beauty. You have the flexibility to style your hair and makeup as you wish. However, we recommend that the Tiny Princess, Jr. Princess, and Princess delegates avoid heavy makeup. Light makeup and hair extensions are permitted in the younger divisions. Eyelashes are allowed for Preteen and up.

DRESSING ROOM 

There are absolutely no males allowed in the dressing room.  No photos or videos are allowed in the dressing room.  Curling irons, flat irons, or any hot hair tools are only permitted in the restroom areas.  Steamers are allowed in the dressing room.

The ticket order link will be available starting July 1, 2027. All Access VIP guest tickets are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Children age 5 and under attend free. All parent/guardian ticket orders must be purchased in advance by August 1, 2027.  Additional guest tickets will be available at the door, depending on seat availability. Cash and Venmo will be accepted for payment at the door. Delegates under the age of 18 are required to have an adult escort for all parties.

KINDNESS STANDARDS 

At Miss Northern International, our guiding principle is “Kindness First, Always!” We are more than just a pageant; we are a vibrant sisterhood dedicated to uplifting and supporting one another. We hold our queens, delegates, and their families to the highest standards of morals and ethics, fostering an environment where respect and positivity flourish. Every delegate, parent, and guest are expected to embody kindness in all interactions. Disrespectful behavior such as negative comments or bullying will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from Miss Northern International. Should you encounter any difficulties, we encourage you to reach out to the Owner and Global Director of Miss Northern International or a member of our MNI team for support. MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL ELIGIBILITY RULES

• The date of September 4, 2027, determines the competing age for each delegate.

• You must be a citizen of the United States, Canada, or Bahamas.

• You must have an exceptional and upstanding character and uphold the Kindness First Always philosophy.

• Eligibility is limited to contestants who are biologically female or assigned female at birth.

• Additional age division requirement: Miss Division Ages 20-30 (never married), Mrs. Division Ages 21+ (married), Ms. Division Ages 21+ (an unmarried woman that uses this title).

• Family members of the Owner of Miss Northern International, as well as family members of paid team members at Miss Northern International, are prohibited from competing as contestants at the MNI Global Finals. However, this rule does not apply to the Sweetheart Practice Pageants.

• Volunteers and sponsors are fully eligible to participate in all events, as their involvement does not affect competition results.

• Current or former Miss Northern International Global Queens may only win a specific division once. If you are crowned in the Tiny Princess, Jr. Princess, Princess, Preteen, Jr. Teen, or Teen divisions, you must advance to a higher division after your reign ends. In addition, you are required to sit out for one full year before you may compete in a new division. This rule applies to all MNI Global Queens. If you are a reigning or former MNI Global Miss, Mrs., or Ms. Queen, you must wait three years after your reign before competing in the same division again.

The organization reserves the right to verify contestant eligibility and interpret all rules and qualifications.

Miss Northern International crowns two courts of queens, expanding opportunities for more girls to achieve the honor of wearing the crown.

​The Miss Northern International Global Division Queens will be honored with an elegant custom sash with stunning rows of rhinestones. These outstanding queens will be recognized for their achievements as they receive an exclusive prize package, celebrating them as the overall division winners.

The Miss Northern International Service Excellence Queens Court will also be presented with a custom sash, symbolizing their dedication to service and kindness. In addition to this beautiful token of achievement, each Service Excellence Queen will receive a special prize package, acknowledging their exceptional commitment to service and kindness.

​MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL QUEENS COMMITMENT

As a Miss Northern International Queen, you will discover a wealth of chances to engage in meaningful service projects and community events. This prestigious title is not just an honor; it’s a commitment to embody the qualities of a positive role model, both in person and on social media. Each Miss Northern International Queen is invited to return to the Global event the following year to bestow the crown upon her successor a moment that is as rewarding as it is ceremonial. To unlock exciting sponsorships, gifts, and unique experiences, all you need to do is share a minimum of four engaging posts each month during your reign.​ Please note that all Miss Northern International Global Queen titles require an exclusive commitment.  ​​

​JUDGES AND SCORING PROCESS

The professional panel of judges is refreshed annually for the Miss Northern International Global Pageant, ensuring a dynamic and fair evaluation process. Each judge scores independently, and the tabulation software is managed by a Judges Chairman to accurately determine the winners. If a judge has a personal connection with a delegate, they must waive their right to judge, and the scoring is based on the average of the remaining judges. The Miss Northern International Founder enforces rigorous ethical standards to guarantee that the judging process remains consistent, fair, and equitable at all times. The contestant who achieves the highest score in each division will be celebrated as the new Miss Northern International Queen. The top five finalists in each division will proudly be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments.

​By maintaining at least four social media posts each month during your Miss Northern International reign and actively using your crown to spread kindness, you will be honored on stage at the next national pageant and receive special recognition for your accomplishments. MNI Global Queens must post at least four times per month to remain eligible for the prize package. Each post must include the hashtags: #MissNorthernInternational and #KindnessFirstAlways.
