Miss Northern International
Founder Statement



 

During my years directing four states for a top-tier scholarship organization, I witnessed the crowning of a six-member court each year. When I founded Miss Northern International, my vision was to expand opportunities by recognizing deserving girls and women not just within a division court, but for the impact they make in their communities. That vision inspired the creation of our Service Excellence Queens.

 

From the beginning, Miss Northern International has been about broadening recognition for girls and women who go above and beyond, honoring achievements that extend beyond traditional division courts.

 

Service and kindness have always been at the core of my life, and I believe they should form the heart of the Miss Northern International organization. These values are the foundation of our program and the reason behind our motto: Kindness First Always.

 

What distinguishes Miss Northern International is our unwavering commitment to celebrating those who consistently lead with service and kindness. In addition to crowning our Miss Northern International Global Queens each year, a select few may earn the distinguished opportunity to serve a second year as a Service Excellence Global Queen honored for exceptional heart, leadership through kindness, and deep engagement in the MNI organization. Queens who complete two years as a Miss Northern International Global Queen while upholding these core values are welcomed into our esteemed Legacy Queen Program. We also expect the families of our queens to exemplify kindness, character, and service.

 

Miss Northern International queens are expected to:

• Make an impact in their communities.

• Touch lives through service.

• Be actively involved with Miss Northern International.

• Support and engage with their sister queens.

• Consistently demonstrate kindness.

• Serve and lead by example.
