Welcome to Miss Northern International, where kindness and sisterhood unite to create a positive impact in our communities. Our delegates strive for personal excellence and engage in meaningful service projects that uplift those around them. By participating in our pageants, they have the chance to compete for awards and scholarships that recognize their dedication and support their future aspirations. Join us in celebrating the spirit of kindness and the pursuit of goals!

 

Our system is a President's Volunteer Service Awards Certifying Organization. At ​MNI, community service is valued; it is an essential foundation that drives our mission. We believe that those who dedicate their time and effort to serve others deserve recognition and celebration. In November 2025, during the National Finals, we will honor individuals who meet the eligibility requirements and exemplify the spirit of volunteerism at a distinguished awards ceremony. Please note at this time the President's Volunteer Service Awards have been placed on a temporary pause. MNI will still recognize service commitment at a special awards event.

​​​​Miss Northern International supports the northeastern portion of the United States and Canada for 2025. Then in 2026, MNI will open to all of the United States and Canada. MNI is open to girls and women of all ages.

 

To qualify for the 2025 Miss Northern International Global Finals, November 14-16, 2025, in Newark, Ohio you must reside in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri,  New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Canada, you are eligible to compete for a division title.

Registration for the Miss Northern International Global Finals is being reopened for a limited timeframe! The registration fee is $650. This exclusive fee grants you access to all required competition events, where we will crown the 2025-2026 MNI Queens. Additionally, you’ll enjoy a digital advertisement designed by Bossy Buttons, an invitation to the welcome party, a delegate ticket for all the required division shows, rehearsal, and more surprises. Registration is now open until October 31, 2025. Please note the hotel block at the Cherry Valley Hotel closes October 27, 2025. There are several other hotel options in close proximity to the venue. Also, please note that MNI magazine has been published, so with a late registration, your headshot will not appear in the magazine.

INTRODUCTION AND OPENING NUMBER

​​​​There will be an introduction to kick off the Tiny Division show, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting separate production. Each Tiny Delegate will be formally introduced by the emcee and will read your introduction, creating a celebratory atmosphere they take the stage.

 

The Junior and Senior Division shows will each begin with the Opening Number routine, which will be meticulously choreographed and led by the talented Natasha Colwell. To ensure everyone is well-prepared, Natasha will share updates, instructional videos, and rehearsal tips well ahead of the finals, enabling each participant to learn their specific part with confidence. There will be a mandatory 2-hour production meeting.  During this session, delegates will refine their performances and coordinate with one another to ensure a seamless presentation on the big day.

 

All of the delegates are required to wear a cocktail dress or jumpsuit in one of the designated colors—light pink, light purple, or white—to create a cohesive and visually striking look. *Please note the Baby Princess and Tiny Princess contestants will participate in an on-stage introduction which includes stage presence. This replaces the interview for these two divisions. The emcee will read the introduction. ​

​​​INTERVIEW: This is an excellent opportunity to engage with the judges and convey who you are, your commitment to kindness and community service, and your aspirations for being crowned the 2025-2026 Miss Northern States International Queen. The interview is three minutes for the Jr. Princess, Princess, and Preteen Divisions and four minutes for the Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, Mrs., and Ms. Interview will take place after registration on Friday. If more time is necessary, the Senior Division interviews will occur on Saturday morning too.  As you enter the interview room, prepare a concise introduction to share with the judges. For the Jr. and Princess Divisions this can be a simple greeting. Make the most of this chance to showcase your passion and dedication!​ Additionally, you will need to mail five (5) copies of your printed bio to the MNI Global Office. A MNI  one-page bio template will be provided. The deadline to mail your bio and mailing address will be provided on the national communication page.

FUN FASHION: This is an exciting opportunity to dazzle the audience with your high-fashion ensemble! Step onto the stage with confidence and flair, showcasing your exquisite modeling skills. The walking routine is designed to be fun and vibrant, allowing your personality to shine through! A detailed walking pattern will be shared in advance of finals, so prepare to leave a lasting impression!

EVENING GOWN: Contestants are invited to shine in a breathtaking floor-length gown that reflects their unique style and personality, embodying grace and elegance. Our Baby Princess and Tiny Princess contestants may choose knee-length dresses or cupcake-style dress. It is essential for every participant to select a gown that inspires confidence and showcases their poise throughout this esteemed event. Ahead of the international gathering, a carefully crafted walking pattern will be revealed, guiding each contestant in their graceful journey across the stage and making every moment magical.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: Community service and giving back are the beating heart of Miss Northern International! Here, we embrace the motto "Kindness First, Always!" Our sisterhood thrives on collaboration, uniting to undertake meaningful service projects that leave a lasting, positive impact on our community. This year, our MNI service project will proudly support the Franklin County Children Services Holiday Wish Program. To discover more, we invite you to visit the Holiday Wish website. As part of our commitment to this cause, we ask that you bring one toy donation to registration on November 14, 2025. Contestants who truly shine by going above and beyond in their support of this initiative will be honored with a special award at the formal dinner on Saturday night. To participate, simply submit a dazzling professional headshot that showcases your unique charm and personality. Our esteemed panel of judges will be on the lookout for elements such as personality, fashion sense, confidence, beauty, lighting, creativity, and composition. The top five contestants with the highest scores will be honored with prestigious awards in the Tiny, Junior, and Senior Divisions. But that's not all—the overall Tiny, Junior, and Senior division winner will be crowned with the coveted Miss Northern International Most Photogenic custom sash and crown, marking their place in the spotlight! B. MODELING PORTFOLIO:  Prepare to unveil your professional modeling portfolio, an inspiring testament to your talent and creativity. Your portfolio should showcase a diverse array of photographs that reflect your unique modeling abilities. Present your work in a tasteful printed format within a stylish portfolio binder. The portfolio should include a creative collection that includes a variety of photos. Judges will thoughtfully assess each submission, and the top five contestants with the highest scores in the Tiny, Junior, and Senior Divisions will receive an award. The overall Tiny, Junior, and Senior division winner will be celebrated with an award plaque, custom sash and crown, symbolizing your exceptional achievement. C. CASUAL WEAR: Get ready for an exciting on-stage modeling event! It’s your time to shine and showcase your favorite casual wear outfit. Bring your unique style and modeling skills to this vibrant and fun occasion. The top three contestants in each age division with the highest scores will earn recognition with an award. Plus, the overall Tiny, Junior, and Senior Division winner will be celebrated with an award plaque, custom sash, and crown. Don’t miss this chance to show what you’ve got!

D. MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL FEATURE MAGAZINE CONTEST: We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for all delegates to participate in the prestigious photo contest! The overall winner will be featured in the highly anticipated 2025 Miss Northern International Global Finals Magazine, a stunning publication designed by the renowned Bossy Buttons.

This feature will be a highlight of the magazine, capturing the essence and beauty of the winners. In addition to the grand prize, there are fantastic rewards for the runners-up: the 1st runner-up will have her striking photo prominently displayed on the inside front cover of the magazine, providing an excellent platform for visibility and recognition. Meanwhile, the 2nd runner-up will have the honor of her photo appearing on the inside back cover, ensuring that all eyes are drawn to her remarkable entry. Here’s your chance to shine! We invite you to create a captivating video, no longer than 60 seconds, that showcases what you love most about Miss Northern International. Share your personal experiences, highlight the organization’s mission, and express how it inspires you and others in the community. The overall winner will see their video featured across MNI’s official social media platforms as well as on the Director's personal page, giving you great exposure and recognition. The overall winner will enjoy the privilege of receiving stage recognition at our upcoming finals event, along with a beautifully crafted custom sash and a cash scholarship to support your endeavors. G. TALENT: Got talent? Now is your chance to shine and impress the judges with your unique skills in a 90-second video submission. This exciting event welcomes participants from Jr. Princess to Ms. Divisions. The talent winner in each division will be honored with an award celebrating their amazing achievements. The overall Junior and Senior division winner will be celebrated with an award plaque, custom sash, and crown, symbolizing your exceptional achievement. Remember, videos must be emailed by September 30, 2025, to missnortherninternational@gmail.com.

H. HEART OF SERVICE SPOKESMODEL:  Giving back isn’t just an act; it’s a responsibility we all share. It’s in the small acts – whether volunteering at a local food bank, organizing neighborhood clean-ups, and so much more that a positive difference is made. Why do you have a heart for service? Prepare a 90 second speech about why community service and giving back is important to you and how you are making a positive difference. The three contestants with the highest score will be recognized with an award in the Jr. and Sr. Divisions. The overall winner in the Jr. and Sr. Divisions will receive a plaque, custom sash, and crown. This event is open to the Jr. Princess to Ms. Divisions.

I. FASHION DU SOLEIL RUNWAY EVENT: Get ready to shine at the International Runway Event with your unique jean-inspired look! The overall winners in the Jr. and Sr. Divisions will receive an exclusive package valued at $1,150, giving them the incredible opportunity to walk at New York Fashion Week in the Charjean Couture Show! These remarkable winners will also be crowned National Queens during the awards ceremony on Sunday! Join this inspiring event for just $75, open to all Jr. Princess, Princess, Preteen, Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, Mrs., and Ms. contestants!

J. INVISIBLE WARRIOR AWARD: This award honors a contestant who embodies strength, compassion, and advocacy in the face of an invisible disability—whether their own or that of someone they support. The recipient shows resilience, empathy, and a commitment to raising awareness or offering support to those living with challenges that aren’t always seen. How to Enter: Jr. Division contestant must submit a video and Sr. Division contestant must submit a short essay (300 words or less) sharing your personal experience or how you've supported someone living with an invisible disability. Highlight the impact, your motivation, and how you’ve helped make a difference. Judging Considerations: •Authenticity and heart behind the story •Has shown support or advocacy •Empowerment through action or awareness •Thoughtful and emotional impact of the essay This award celebrates strength that may not be visible—but is deeply felt. The Jr. Division overall winner selected will receive a $50 cash scholarship and the Sr. Division overall winner a $100 cash scholarship! K. STATE WEAR EVENT: Get ready to celebrate your home with our State Wear Optional Event! This exciting opportunity invites you to proudly showcase the unique culture, heritage, or iconic symbols of the state or territory where you reside. To participate, wear an outfit that reflects your pride and connection to your home, whether it’s traditional attire, clothing featuring local landmarks, or even colors that represent your state. Your submission will consist of a video, with a maximum length of 90 seconds, where you’ll showcase not just your outfit but also your confident walking skills! This is your chance to shine, so choose a creative location that resonates with the essence of your state or city—be it a picturesque park, a bustling urban street, or a scenic landmark. Let your imagination run wild as you bring your vision to life! This event is open to all delegates, and it promises to be a fun and creative way to express where you come from. Additionally, we will honor the top achievers in each division with an award plaque and a stunning crown. Miss Northern International is absolutely delighted to announce the highly anticipated welcome party at our prestigious event! Join us on Friday for the enchanting Splish, Splash, & Welcome Bash! Prepare for a fun filled event with excitement, including fantastic giveaways! Dress to impress in your cutest outfit of choice! After our warm welcome, you’re invited to join the MNI National Queens in the lounge and pool area for a swimming party and the chance to forge new friendships! Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the beloved Princess Ariel and Moana, who have a special surprise waiting just for you! Please remember that a full coverage bathing suit is required, and we kindly ask you to bring a cover-up for when you're outside the pool area. Also, please note that food and drinks are not permitted in the pool area. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

FORMAL DINNER & FASHION DU SOLEIL RUNWAY EVENT

Get ready for an exciting night as Miss Northern International hosts a dinner to honor the 24-25 MNS National Queens and their families! This event will include service award recognition, followed by the Fashion Du Soleil Runway event, and the Senior Division Optional show! Dress your best for this formal dinner.

 

MNI is coordinating with the Catering Manager to create a few options to choose from, which will include a child-friendly dinner option for the Junior Division as well as a vegetarian and gluten-free option. Attendance is mandatory, and a ticket will need to be purchased for the MNI contestant and family members wishing to attend. The ticket will cover dinner, gratuity for the wait staff, and an opportunity to see the service awards, runway show, and Senior Division optional events! If the contestant is under 18, one adult chaperone will be required. The ticket requirement will be waived for the Baby Princess contestants. Dinner options and ticket prices will be posted as soon as possible. 

 

AUCTION EVENT 

Miss Northern International hosts a highly anticipated annual auction event! Each contestant is required to contribute a themed basket or donation with a retail value of $50 to enhance our fundraising efforts. Let your creativity shine with ideas such as a delightful family game night basket filled with classic board games and snacks, a pet lover’s basket packed with toys and treats for furry friends, or a beauty-themed package overflowing with pampering essentials. Purses and adorable backpacks filled with fun, kid-friendly items are wonderful choices too! Please turn in your donation at registration on November 14, 2025. This exciting auction not only promises fun and community spirit but also supports vital annual scholarships. Thank you for your generous contribution to make this event a success! MNI is excited to announce that we will be presenting special awards for two remarkable achievements: the auction donation that garners the highest bid and the most creatively inspired donation! ​Miss Northern International has established an exclusive partnership with Matti Pearl Patches, which is owned and operated by Amanda Medina. This agreement ensures that Matti Pearl Patches is the only producer of all Miss Northern International swag and apparel, including t-shirts, hats, and other merchandise designed specifically for our organization. As such, families and contestants are strictly prohibited from producing their own MNI items to maintain brand consistency and quality.

​MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP RULES

Miss Northern State International is a natural scholarship pageant system, and we encourage everyone to showcase their natural beauty. You have the flexibility to style your hair and makeup as you wish. However, we recommend that the Baby, Tiny, Jr. Princess, and Princess delegates avoid heavy makeup. Light makeup and hair extensions are permitted in the younger divisions.

 

DRESSING ROOM 

There are absolutely no males allowed in the dressing room.  No photos or videos are allowed in the dressing room.  Curling irons, flat irons, or any hot hair tools are only permitted in the restroom areas.  Steamers are allowed in the dressing room.

VIP admission for all show is $80. General dmission for the Miss Northern International shows is $40. There will be an order link for the contestants for show tickets available September 1, 2025. Children 6 and under are free admission. If you are visiting royalty from any system and are wearing your sash the general admission is only $20. Cash, PayPal, and Venmo accepted at the door pending seat availability. The admission is valid for Tiny, Junior, and Senior shows and the MNI Awards and Crowning show.

KINDNESS STANDARDS 

At Miss Northern International, our guiding principle is “kindness first, always!” We are more than just a pageant; we are a vibrant sisterhood dedicated to uplifting and supporting one another. We hold our contestants and their families to the highest standards of morals and ethics, fostering an environment where respect and positivity flourish. Every delegate, parent, and guest are expected to embody kindness in all interactions. Disrespectful behavior—such as negative comments or bullying—will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from the event. Together, let us create a space where every girl and woman can thrive! We are here to empower one another and celebrate our successes. MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL QUEEN COMMITMENT

The Miss Northern International title comes without exclusivity or restrictions, offering you the freedom to participate in local, state, national, and international events, including valuable MNI practice pageant opportunities.

 

As a MNI Global Queen, you will discover a wealth of chances to engage in meaningful service projects and community events. This prestigious title is not just an honor; it’s a commitment to embody the qualities of a positive role model, both in person and through your social media presence. Each Miss Northern International Queen is invited to return to the Global event the following year to bestow the crown upon her successor—a moment that is as rewarding as it is ceremonial. To unlock exciting sponsorships, gifts, and unique experiences, all you need to do is share a minimum of three engaging posts each month during your reign.

Please note the Service Excellence Ambassadors holding this title requires a full commitment. A Service Excellence Ambassador represents unwavering dedication to the Miss Northern International Organization and embodies the ideals of kindness and service. Holding this title, requires a commitment during your reign, restricting participation in other national and international pageant events. The Ambassador title is a separate opportunity from a division title and as a delegate you will apply to compete for this coveted title. 

 

The MNI Global Queens who fulfill the social media requirements will be celebrated on stage at the Miss Northern International Global finals event the following year, earning a special recognition and a cash scholarship based on their commitment to the organization. The queen with the overall biggest service impact, commitment to the Miss Northern International organization, and consistent attendance at events will be awarded with a second year as a Miss Northern International Queen!

 

As a reigning MNI Global Queen, you can only win a division one time which means you must age up to a new division if you are a Baby Princess, Tiny Princess, Jr. Princess, Princess, Preteen, Jr. Teen, or Teen. A reigning MNI Global Queen must sit out one full year after your reign is over before you can compete in a new division. This includes all MNI International Queens (Ambassadors, Runway Model, and People's Choice). As a reigning MNI Global Miss, Mrs., or Ms. Queen, you must sit out three years before you can compete in the same division again. If you are eligible to return, please register for an appointed title.

MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL ELIGIBILITY RULES

The date of October 1, 2025, determines the competing age for each contestant. You must be a citizen of the United States or Canada, a natural born female, and have an exceptional and upstanding character. A kindness first always attitude is important. Additional qualifying factors for age divisions: 

Miss Division Ages 20-30 (never married)

Mrs. Division Ages 21+ (married)

Ms. Division Ages 21+ (an unmarried woman that uses this title) 

 

As a paid team member at Miss Northern International, it is imperative to understand that your family members are strictly prohibited from competing as a contestant at the MNI Global finals. This rule does not apply to the Sweetheart Practice Pageants. However, volunteers and sponsors are fully eligible to participate in all events.

JUDGES AND SCORING PROCESS

The professional panel of judges is refreshed annually for the MNI Global Pageant, ensuring a dynamic and fair evaluation process. Each judge scores independently, and the tabulation software is managed by a Judges Chairman to accurately determine the winners. If a judge has a personal connection with a contestant, they are required to waive their right to judge, and the scoring will rely on an average from the remaining judges. The MNI Founder and Director enforces rigorous ethical standards to guarantee that the judging process remains consistent, fair, and equitable at all times.

MISS NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL CROWNING

The contestant who achieves the highest score in each division will be celebrated as the new Miss Northern International Queen. The top five state finalists in each division will proudly receive a plaque in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.

The Miss Northern International Prize Package for the new 2025-2026 Queens:

​By maintaining a minimum of two social media posts each month during your Miss Northern International reign and using your crown to spread kindness, you will receive a special honor on stage at the next national pageant and be awarded a special recognition for your accomplishments. MNI Global Queens must maintain the two posts per month to remain eligible for the prize package. Your posts must include the tags #MissNorthernInternational, #MNIHeartofService, and #KindnessFirstAlways. At the next 2026 Miss Northern International Global Finals, one of the 25-26 MNI National Queens will be celebrated as an honorary 2025-2026 Miss Northern States Ambassador for impactful service initiatives within local communities and an overall commitment to the organization.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE

Get ready for an exciting People's Choice vote featuring all of the Miss Northern International delegates! The delegate who receives the highest overall votes will be honored as the People's Choice winner. This prestigious title is part of the 2025-2026 Miss Northern International Queen's Court and comes with the same sponsorships, photoshoots, and gifts! The winner will shine on stage as they are crowned, and the sash will be ordered after the MNI Global event. People's Choice opens October 1, 2025!

AD PAGES & FUNDRAISING

​Please see the flyer posted on the National Contestant private communication page once you are officially registered, which contains all the essential ad information. Two ad page options are available, a heartfelt good luck, or a professional business ad, designed to showcase local businesses where you live. For each ad page you sell, you will retain $50 of the proceeds, allowing to support your MNI Global Finals journey. The ad pages will be featured in the MNI magazine that will be available November 14, 2025, at the Registration desk. The Miss Northern International Magazine is $40.

Once you've successfully gathered the funds and information, please send an email containing your ad content and send it to missnortherninternational@gmail.com. This email should include your professional headshot for the ad, the names you wish to feature on the good luck ad, or the business logo along with any specific content they want highlighted. After your email is received, you will receive an invoice for the ad balance, which will be due upon receipt. The deadline is September 14, 2025. ​Should you have any questions or require support, don’t hesitate to reach out.
